Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and YesPile (“YesPile,” “we,” “us”) governing your use of the YesPile website, applications, and services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The service
YesPile helps you tailor your existing resume and related application materials to specific job postings using AI-assisted analysis and rewriting, match scoring, cover-letter drafting, and application tracking. The Service rephrases, reorders, and emphasizes content you provide; it is designed not to invent experience, and it gives you review tools to approve or reject changes.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate registration information.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity under your account.
- One person per account. Accounts may not be shared, sold, or transferred.
- Notify us at support@yespile.app immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Your content and your responsibility for accuracy
- You retain all rights to the resumes, job descriptions, and other content you upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to store and process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you.
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy of every document you submit to an employer. The Service provides drafts and suggestions; you must review them. Do not represent skills, titles, employment, education, or metrics that are not true. Misrepresenting qualifications to employers may have serious consequences for you, and YesPile bears no responsibility for content you approve and use.
- You may only upload content you have the right to use, and you may not upload another person's personal information without their permission.
5. AI-generated content
Output produced by AI systems can contain errors, omissions, or awkward phrasing. The Service includes verification and review features, and we design our prompts to avoid fabrication, but no AI system is perfect. All output is provided as a draft for your review, not as fact, advice, or a guarantee. YesPile does not guarantee interviews, job offers, ATS compatibility with any particular system, or any employment outcome.
6. Credits, passes, and payments
- Paid features consume credits (e.g., one credit per tailored resume or cover letter). Current pricing is shown on the Credits page. Credits are non-transferable, have no cash value, and do not expire.
- If a generation fails on our end, the associated credit is automatically refunded to your balance.
- The Weekly Pass is a recurring subscription that grants credits each week and renews automatically until you cancel via the billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; credits already granted remain yours.
- The Unlimited Week is a one-time purchase granting unlimited standard generations for 7 days from purchase (or extending your current unlimited period by 7 days). It is subject to fair use (Section 7).
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Unused credit packs are refundable within 14 days of purchase if no credits from the pack have been spent; contact support@yespile.app.
- Prices may change; changes never affect credits you already own.
7. Acceptable and fair use
- No use of the Service to create fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful materials.
- No reverse engineering, scraping, automated bulk access, or attempts to circumvent usage limits, credit checks, or security measures.
- No reselling Service output as a service to third parties without our written consent.
- “Unlimited” means unlimited normal personal use during your job search. We may throttle or suspend automated or commercial-scale usage that degrades the Service for others.
- Free features (such as match scoring) are subject to reasonable daily caps.
8. Referral program
Referral credits are granted when a referred person creates a genuine new account. Self-referrals, fake accounts, spam distribution of referral links, or other abuse void associated credits and may result in account suspension.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by YesPile and protected by law. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your personal job search. Your Content remains yours (Section 4); documents generated for you from Your Content are yours to use freely.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service or request account deletion at any time via support@yespile.app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with refund of unused purchased credits where the violation is not fraud or abuse. Sections 4, 5, 11, and 12 survive termination.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YESPILE'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE OR (B) US $25. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST OPPORTUNITIES, INCLUDING EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at support@yespile.app and attempt to resolve the issue informally for 30 days.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. For material changes we will notify you (e.g., by email or in-app notice) before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
